Bug Zapping is a sport

It's another hot, sweaty evening in Chiang Mai...perfect weather for mosquitos! Check out this snazzy little tennis racket that you swat the mosquitos with and they get fried. It's SO FUN! Who needs to watch Thai TV when you can zap bugs all night long!!

I'm so thankful that I have a mosquito net draping over my bed! I was just in my room and there were at least 20 lined up all the way around the net! I zapped every one that I could! I just hope that they stay on the outside as I sleep!! Yikes!

PS...another fun day of language class! So far, so good!

Hey, Wendy-Lou!

I can hear, see, and smell where you are- I remember pretty good! I love living back there again, vicariously through you! Yeah, speaking a second language "faster" was always the challenge for this Southern boy, too! Your learning curve in that area is just a bit steeper, I'll bet! It's always great catching up on the blog!

Bug zappers are the coolest thing! I went to Giorgios (I think that was the name of it) when I was in CM and they pulled one of those out and killed some mosquitoes under our table. I was amazed! We should sell those things here...

Hey...do you think they'd be too dangerous for a couple of my students? I'd love to "zap" a few:) It's been such fun catching up with ya'll this afternoon. I hadn't read the blog in a while and it was wonderful to see what you've been up to! Great fun!! Sure wish we could pop by for a Coke Light and good laugh. I remember how wonderful the Coke Light tasted when I was in China...you're right, way better than Diet Coke! Take care and know that we think of ya'll often.

I cannot seem to get in to Courtney's comment section, but I am wondering how you can be so extravagant with water, when it has been so long since you had rain. Interesting!!!
You girls are something else!
I miss you. Ernestine
